Despite the ongoing chorus about hacking and computer security, it seems some people just don't get the hint. A comprehensive list of the most commonly used - and possible most insecure - passwords over the course of 2011 was recently drawn up by Splashdata and reported in Mashable. Surprisingly the most common password in use today is simple "password". The full list can be found below:
