How to disable automatic lock in Windows 7
Follow the steps below to disable the automatic desktop lock in Windows 7 upon waking from sleep:
Option1
- Click Start -> Run
- Type regedit and click Ok
- Navigate to the location below"

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
- Click Start -> Control Panel
- Click Power Options
- Click “Require Password on Wakeup” on the left pane
- Select the option “Don’t require a password”
- Click Save Changes (See pic below)
- Click Save Changes (See pic below)
It really is that simple to disable automatic lock in Windows 7.
