How to 'enable delivery reports' in 'Microsoft Outlook 2010'
Microsoft Outlook has, for years come with an option that enables you to receive a delivery report once you've sent an email. As the name suggests, a "Delivery Report" gets sent back to you after its been successfully received by the recepient mail server. Enabling this feature allows you know exactly when an email message was successfully transmitted to is intended recepient/s.
Here are the steps involved in enabling Delivery reports in Outlook 2010:
- When typing out a new email in Microsoft Outlook 2010, click the Options tab
- Tick "Request a Delivery Receipt" (See pic above)
Once the message is successfully delivered you will receive a report in your Inbox (see pic below)
