Apple's flagship web browser Safari, has been released for public download for Windows operating systems. Apple provides the following 12 reasons why you should use Safari:

1. Blazing Performance
2. Elegant User Interface
3. Easy Bookmarks
4. Pop-up Blocking
5. Inline Find
6. Tabbed Browsing
7. SnapBack
8. Forms AutoFill
9. Built-in RSS
10. Resizable Text Fields
11. Private Browsing
12. Security

They also claim that Safari is: “The fastest web browser on any platform, Safari loads pages up to 2 times faster than Internet Explorer 7 and up to 1.6 times faster than Firefox 2.”

Only one way to find out if they telling us the truth or selling us a load of hogwash...Give Safari a try.

i think i´ll try it but afterwards stick to firefox... i really got used to all these cool add-ons. i love the mouse gestures! and the no-script add-on is also a very vital thing in terms of security. i don´t think that safari has these things.
thanks for sharing

Safari seems a little quicker than Firefox or Opera but I exprienced a few unexpected random crashes today. I know its in beta but if this is any indication of how Safari will be then I think Apple shoukld stick to making IPODS!!!
