How to test for dead pixels on an LCD screen
There is a free application called Dead Pixel Buddy which you can use to test for dead pixels on your LCD screen. The software does this by glowing your screen black, white or RGB colors. remember to wipe your screen before testing for dead pixels, or you may mistake a dust particle for a dead pixel.
