How To Disable or Remove Outlook 2010 Add-ins

There are literally thousands of Add-Ins available for Outlook 2010. Most of the time, they work harmoniously together with Outlook enhancing Outlooks functionality. But, every so often one misbehaves and wreaks havoc with Outlook resulting in random crashes, hangs and freeze ups.

This article explains how to disable Outlook Add Ins.

- Open Outlook and click File >> Options

- Now click Add-Ins

- Now select COM Add-Ins from the drop down list and click Go (see picture below)

- You should now see a list of the currently installed Add-Ins that looks similar to the picture below:

- To disable an Add-In simply untick it.

- To delete an Add-In select it and click Remove
