How to delay sending or schedule a message in Outlook 2003
Ordinarily when you click Send in Outlook your email is sent immediately if you're connected to the the internet. In some cases though, you may want to delay the sending of an email or perhaps schedule it for later sending. This is how you do it:
- In the message window, click Options
- In the Message Options dialogue box, tick Do Not Deliver Before and choose your desired send date and time from the drop-down menus.
- Click Close. Now click Send
Your message will now sit in your Outbox waiting to send and the date and time you specified.
